Pretty good tavern-style pizza. We had the cheese & s'mores. Nice beer menu, according to the husband. It was a nice tavern. It would be a nice place to watch a game.
We had dinner here at the suggestion of a friend who lives in Chicago, and this is their favorite pizza place. Thin crispy crust, plenty of options, good beer selection, nice discounts / specials on drinks, and the patio was a great spot on a summer night. The vibe is cool and I would come back to try more of their specials too. The touristy deep dish pizza spot had a 1.5 hour wait, here we walked right in and our food came out fast too. Great service.
A nice dive bar with great staff, good drinks, and tasty food. I was staying in the neighborhood during a conference in Chicago. Flo & Santos was a fun cafeteria and living room for me. Most importantly, they make very tasty (thin crust) real pizza; not those strange deep dish Chicago concoctions.
Great ambiance here and very reasonable prices for what you're getting. The staff are attentive and will check in with you often, but not annoyingly so. There are also great deals for most days of the week for various food and beer selections, so if you're frequently in the South Loop you can find some variety on different days. Saturday has a great beer deal so that may be of interest to many.
Had a taste for pizza so definitely went to Flo and Santos! The friendly professional staff is so exemplary. Very patient and accommodating to my customized pizza request. Even brought a fresh bowl of water for my dog. And I mean look at this picture of a delicious 8 inch pizza with the meltiest cheese, juicy chicken chunks, marinara sauce, and drizzled with tasty fresh pesto! The huge serving of waffles for this combo was a nice bonus! Tried but could not finish it all. Such a comfortable spacious patio too! Great gem for our South Loop hood!
Big patio and really nice sports bar/neighborhood pub vibe. Beer and spirits selection was expansive. Lots of different food options. The kielbasa was excellent as were the pierogis. Sauerkraut was mild and the potato pancakes were not latke style - super thick! Service was quick. Overall very good!
